Due to the need for a reliable source of increased water storage and pressure in the Seven Corners community, Fairfax Water needs to replace the existing elevated water storage tank in the Seven Corners Apartment complex that is near the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and John Marshall Drive in Falls Church.

About the Project

The current tank was built in 1950 and holds 200,000 gallons of water. The new tank will hold 1 million gallons of water.

Depending on permitting and County approvals, construction is anticipated to begin late 2027 with an expected duration of two years. Any traffic and parking disruptions during construction will be communicated to the community.
