UPDATE: (OCT 21, 2021, 6:50 pm) - The road has been repaired and Kirby Road is now open for traffic in both directions. The repaired site at Kirby Road will undergo additional maintenance in the near future to ensure its long-term durability and use.

UPDATE: (OCT 20, 2023, 5:30 pm) - The water main has been repaired and water service has been restored to affected customers. The closed off section of Kirby Road remains under repair and drivers who do not live in the area should continue to use alternate routes. Crews and contractors are hard at work to restore the road and we will update this page once that has been achieved. Thank you.
Please be advised that we are currently receiving reports of water outage from customers in the area of 1400 Kirby Road in McLean. This outage has been identified as a water main break and our crews and technicians are working on resolving the break as soon as possible.
